It's amazing how thes...Oh, I loved this post. <br /><br />It's amazing how these changes happen, slowly but surely. I still have these moments, all the time - when I stand up for myself, or offer an honest opinion, or don't say something just to make someone else happy - it never ceases to amaze me that I can do all that. And? The times I don't? When I slip back into pathological people pleasing? I see it. I don't always change it right away, but at least I see it.<br /><br />Sobriety has its challenges, for sure.
